As the managing director of Ion Global Korea, SunYoung Lee leads the overall operations of the Korean office with an aim to further develop the company's successful mobile device interface business and provide clients with online marketing advice and support.
With a strong background in marketing, planning and operations, SunYoung joined Ion Global in 1999, first as the operations manager of the Seoul office and then as the strategy and planning practice leader. She was appointed managing director in 2004. Under her leadership, SunYoung and her team continue to successfully advise and implement creative online solutions for high-profile multinational brands, such as L'Oreal, BMW, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson as well as leading Korean mobile companies, including KTF and Samsung.
Born in Seoul, she earned her MBA from SungLyunKwan University and is an accomplished pianist.
